About Our Staff

Daytona Beach Computer Learning Center staff is a group of computer-savvy senior volunteers. Volunteers choose to either instruct or coach or both. In addition to their work in the classroom, many volunteers run the Learning Center and  contribute expertise and ideas that allow the Learning Center to grow and continue to offer up-to-date equipment and software.

APPLICATION TO JOIN OUR STAFF

Course offerings are dependant on enlisting the support of qualified volunteers. Please consider volunteering to help ensure that the Learning Center can continue to meet the student demand.

If you have completed Getting Started 3 or the equivalent and feel you have a good working knowledge of basic computer techniques and enjoy working with people, you qualify to apply for a Coach position.

All volunteers who join the Learning Center staff begin in the Coach position and are asked to complete a three hour Daytona Beach Computer Learning Center orientation.
